Scrum Master

Description:

We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master to support and guide a development team in adopting and continuously improving Agile practices.

Responsibilities:

• Organize and facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.)
• Lead daily stand-ups using Jira as the primary tool
• Define, document, and follow up on team processes and procedures based on evolving needs
• Coach the team in story creation, estimation practices, and backlog grooming
• Act as the guardian of the sprint lifecycle and Agile principles
• Encourage the team’s self-organizing capabilities and drive a culture of ownership
• Help the team identify, communicate, and remove impediments
• Manage escalations in a timely and structured manner
• Maintain and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner

Profile:

• Minimum 7 years of experience as a Scrum Master
• More than just a facilitator — you’re actively involved and embedded in the team
• Proven experience in setting up or maturing Agile teams
• Strong communication, leadership, and coaching skills
• Fluent in Dutch and French (spoken and written); understanding of English is a plus

Technical Environment & Tools:

• Jira (confirmed experience)
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum framework (confirmed)
• Basic understanding of Java and Excel is appreciated
• Prior exposure to project coordination or lead roles is a plus
