Our client is a leading manufacturer and seller of auto parts across Belgium who is looking for an FCO IT Project Manager.
The ideal PM will be working on several projects, one of which is the migration from AS/400 to the deployment of a new ERP System, Infor m3. Previous experience working with comparable ERP Systems would be beneficial :
- SAP,Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics
The ideal IT PM should also have a background in Finance - Accounting Controlling and General Accounting - OR Logistics.

Project management
- Planning and managing the entire IT project lifecycle, from design to final delivery.
- Developing the project roadmap, identifying milestones and deliverables, and managing priorities.
- Setting up and monitoring resources, deadlines and costs associated with the project.
- Managing risks and issues, and implementing solutions to resolve them in a timely manner.
Collaboration with business teams
- Working closely with finance teams (accounting, management control, treasury, etc.) to understand their needs and requirements.
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications for the development teams.
- Ensure that the solutions implemented meet the legal and regulatory requirements specific to the financial sector (compliance, IFRS standards, etc.).
Quality and compliance monitoring
- Ensure that projects comply with the data quality and security standards in force in the financial sector.
- Carry out regular checks to ensure compliance with financial regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the validation of functional and technical tests to ensure the effectiveness and security of the solutions developed.
Communication and reporting
- Report regularly on project progress to internal stakeholders (management, finance department, IT teams).
- Prepare detailed reports on project costs, deadlines, risks and results.
Required Technical skills:
- Knowledge of financial information systems (ERP, accounting software, cash management, etc.).
- Project management skills (use of tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, etc.).
- Knowledge of systems development and integration (API, databases, etc.).
- Understanding of cybersecurity and financial data protection issues.
Management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with varying priorities and resources.
- Budget management and cost monitoring skills.
- Risk and change management skills.
Business skills
- Good knowledge of financial processes and requirements (accounting, cash flow management, banking and financial regulations).
- Proficiency in financial standards and regulations such as MiFID II, IFRS, or European Central Bank requirements.
Education and experience
- Degree in computer science, project management, or equivalent.
- Significant experience in IT project management, preferably in the financial /banking / Logsitic sector.
- Certification in project management (PMP, Prince2, Agile, etc.) is an asset.
Language :
For this position, all candidates must speak French Fluently with an understanding of English.
