Business Support Officer

A leading international financial institution with a strong presence across EMEA is looking for an Operations Officer to join its Business Support team. The organisation offers a stable, multicultural environment with a focus on long-term client relationships and sustainable finance.

As part of the Corporate Banking Operations team, you will contribute to the efficient execution of daily tasks across Payments, Cash Management, Trade Finance Operations, and Guarantees. This is a hands-on, client-focused role within a well-established structure that values precision, collaboration, and initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Process and monitor daily operational activities across Payments, CMS, Trade Finance, and Guarantees
• Respond to internal and external queries via email and phone, managing shared mailboxes
• Handle incoming/outgoing payments, standing orders, and account reconciliations
• Support the full lifecycle of Guarantee operations (issuance, amendments, cancellations)
• Maintain e-banking contracts and assist with KYC compliance
• Contribute to monthly controls, system testing, and process improvement initiatives

Profile

• 2 to 6 years’ experience in banking operations (Payments, Cash Management, Trade Finance, Guarantees)
• Fluent in English, with a good command of Dutch and/or French (spoken and written)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities; detail-oriented and diligent
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Able to prioritise, multitask, and work independently in a fast-paced environment
