For our office in Brussels , we are looking for a Strategic Finance & Ops Controller:

Our Strategic Finance & Ops Controller will support our IT Production teams in managing their financial performance. In this key role, you’ll be at the heart of budget planning, financial tracking, and contract lifecycle management - ensuring everything runs smooth and efficient.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the go-to person for daily financial support to IT Production teams, helping them steer budget forecasts and financial reporting.
• Monitor and manage all types of costs—resource, non-resource, and subcontractor—ensuring transparency and control at every step.
• Take ownership of the full contract lifecycle, from initial request to completion, making sure every milestone is met.
• Collaborate with Tribe Leads, Contract Managers, Procurement, and other stakeholders to align financial processes with business needs.
• Use internal tools to launch new budget requests, track current spending, and drive follow-up actions to closure.
• Oversee the entire finance process end-to-end, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.

Must-Haves:

• 📊 Budget Management – Hands-on experience with managing departmental budgets, from allocation to expense tracking and forecasting.
• 📈 Excel Mastery – Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• ✅ Detail-Oriented & Reliable – You thrive in structured environments and never miss a detail.
• 🤝 Team Player – Collaborative, adaptable, and process-driven.
• 🌐 Language: Dutch or French AND English (fluent).

Nice-to-Haves:

• 🧰 Financial Tools & Processes – Experience with financial tools / systems is a plus.
• 🏦 Banking Experience – Previous exposure to the banking environment is highly appreciated.
