Sales Representative - Volvo Penta

In order to strengthen our Sales department with additional expertise, we are currently looking for a "Sales Representative - Volvo Penta" for our office in Brussels.


Responsibilities

As a Sales Representative specializing in Volvo Penta products, you will be responsible for driving sales and building relationships with customers. Your expertise in understanding the unique needs and applications of these engines, coupled with your strong sales skills, will be critical to your success.


  • Market Analysis : Conduct research to identify potential customers, industry trends, and competitive landscapes within the industrial and marine sectors ;


  • Prospecting : Identify and contact potential customers through multiple channels including Push-Pull activities ;


  • Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers by partnering with them and understanding their needs ;


  • Product Knowledge : Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of engine specifications and performance characteristics ;


  • Negotiation : Effectively negotiate deals, prices and terms to achieve mutually beneficial agreements ;


  • Customer Service : Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries, resolving problems, and ensuring customer satisfaction ;


  • Reporting: Track sales performance, prepare reports, and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.


Profile

  • You hold a degree in Sales, Engineering or equivalent by experience ;
  • Previous successful experience in an industrial or marine sales role ;
  • Strong technical knowledge of engines and their applications ;
  • Experience selling engines in B2B & B2C environments
  • Ability to work in ERP systems and Microsoft based programs, mainly Outlook and Excel ;
  • You're fluent in French with strong command of English ;
  • Organized with good time management, multi-tasking ;
  • Good problem solver and ability to deal with complexity ;
  • Deadline oriented and able to work under pressure ;
  • Team player and strong communication skills.
