Le Temps de Cerises, a French denim fashion brand with a Pan European footprint and rapid sales growth across multiple markets, is recruiting a COUNTRY MANAGER for the Benelux region.
Primary Accountabilities: The Country Manager will create and implement local brand strategies that align with the global brand vision, aiming to enhance local brand awareness and exceed sales objectives.
- Accountable for achieving and exceeding sales targets for the Benelux region and key accounts
- Definition of seasonal sales strategy and implementation of strategy with the regional sales rep and accounts
- Management of Le Temps des Cerises retail corners within the Inno department store, including establishment of sales goals, forecasts, sales reporting / KPIs and supervision of dedicated Inno sales manager and staff
- Manage and build strategic long-terms relationships with existing and new partners with a key aim of maximizing sales, profitability and brand equity for Le Temps des Cerises
- Efficient and seamless communication with customer service department in Marseille head office on seasonal deliveries and day to day operations
- Monitor payments of customer base in collaboration with credit department to ensure financial stability and payment discipline of Benelux accounts.
- Accurate analysis and management of reporting including monitoring of order book, collection and analysis of sell thru reports, stock management to maximize reorders and competitive set analysis.
- Strong understanding of brand history, DNA, expert knowledge of the seasonal product lines and ability to share these elements in presentations to customers and regional sales team
- Ownership of local showroom management - inclusive of day to day admin & seasonal showroom merch
What you need to succeed
- Minimum of 5 years previous wholesale / retail sales experience in fashion sector with a proven track record of taking personal ownership to manage and develop business with strategic partners
- Ability to act as our brand ambassador for the Benelux thanks to passion for our brand and for the denim segment in general
- Strong team player but equally comfortable owning projects individually and autonomously
- Excellent interpersonal relationships, fluid communication, organization and presentation skills
- Having existing relationships with Belgian and Dutch key accounts and the ability to convert networking assets into new business for Le Temps des Cerises
- Willingness to travel (up to 20%) for sales appointments, store visits, tradeshows and sales meetings. This role is based in Brussels.
- Fluent in both English & French is a must. Dutch and or Flemish a plus.
