Automation Manager

We’re looking for a skilled Automation Superintendent to join our technical team and support LNG infrastructure operations. If you have a strong background in automation, electrical, and instrumentation systems especially within the maritime or energy sector this could be your next step.

🔧 Key Responsibilities of the Automation Superintendent:

• Act as the subject matter expert for E/I/A systems on both operational and newbuild LNG assets.
• Provide daily technical support and troubleshooting for automation and instrumentation systems.
• Lead performance upgrades, compliance checks, and system optimizations.
• Prepare repair specs for dry-docking and maintenance, ensuring technical accuracy.
• Collaborate with onboard and onshore teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
• Monitor technical budgets, approve procurement requests, and report on project progress.

🧠 What You Bring:

• A degree in Automation, Electromechanics, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical maritime role or as a sailing automation engineer.
• Knowledge of DCS, SIS, and systems like Honeywell.
• Strong communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with maritime rules and standards is a plus.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Location: Resides within the Antwerp area, with a maximum commute time of 45 minutes.
