About the role
As a Senior Analog Design Engineer at Caeleste, you are part of our talented, multidisciplinary engineering team and you will play a pivotal role in shaping next-generation CMOS image sensors. Your main responsibilities include:
- You take responsibility for the design and architecture of novel CMOS image sensors, focusing on signal flow and system integration.
- You perform verification across all aspects, leveraging advanced methods and tools to ensure optimal performance.
- You conduct long-term research on circuit topologies and pixel performance to push the boundaries of image sensing technology.
- You collaborate closely with project partners, internal experts, and customers to drive innovation and successful project execution.
What do we expect from our new colleague?
- You have a master’s degree or PhD in (Micro)Electronics Engineering, Physics, Photonics, Nanotechnology or a related field.
- You have a strong background in system-on-chip design or electronic systems, with proficiency in theoretical concepts, hands-on design, simulation, and validation.
- You are able to derive block level specifications from image sensor specifications.
- You interface with test and characterization team to ensure the testability of the sensors.
- You assist in initial debugging and analyze the results from characterization campaign.
- You are aware of production related issues of image sensors or you are interested in gaining experience in this area.
- You are comfortable taking ownership and responsibility while working autonomously to drive impactful results.
You are a creative and innovative thinker with a strong analytical mindset and a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- You show the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment, engaging with peers, guiding junior engineers, experts, and customers.
- You possess good communication skills in English (writing and presenting), with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences for clarity and impact.
