Join a key player in the Belgian energy sector!

The Belgian energy landscape is undergoing a significant transformation, and you’ll have the opportunity to play a pivotal role in high-voltage electrical infrastructure projects (380, 220, 150, 70, and 36 kV). As a Project Engineer, you will be at the heart of the energy transition, working within multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of critical projects.

You will be responsible for both the technical and organizational management of projects, collaborating closely with project leaders, engineering teams, and external partners.

Main Responsibilities:

• Contribute to all phases of the project, from feasibility studies to commissioning and administrative closure.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of technical designs by integrating expertise in the following areas:

1. High-voltage components of substations
2. Protection systems, automation, and telecommunications.
3. High-voltage lines and pylons for connections between substations.

• Develop preliminary designs, define project scope, and establish budgets and schedules.
• Coordinate and supervise design teams and external partners (suppliers, subcontractors).
• Oversee project execution in the field, working with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Your Profile:

Education and Technical Skills:

• Master’s degree in electrical or electromechanical engineering (or equivalent experience).
• Strong interest in the energy sector and electrical infrastructure.
• Prior experience in project management or engineering is a plus (recent graduates are welcome).
• Familiarity with high-voltage standards and technical specifics (substations, lines).

Soft Skills:

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• A quick learner with a proactive and structured approach.

Languages:

• Full proficiency in French OR Dutch is required (and English)

Working Conditions:

• Location: Mainly at the Brussels headquarters, with regular travel to project sites in Belgium.
• Work Schedule: Full-time (40h/week).
