PRIVATE BANKER - BRUSSELS (M/F)

Mission

EDR considers Belgium as a core market for its private banking activities. As such, we want to continue growing our AUM & client base, in order to strengthen our position as a leading player in the Belgian market.

As (Junior) Private Banker in the Brussels team, you will be responsible for monitoring and retaining existing customers as well as, in a second stage, developing new relationships. You establish a strong and lasting relationship of trust with the customer and their family and proactively provide commercial monitoring by proposing solutions adapted to needs and in line with the Group's multiple and varied offerings.

Responsibilities

• You provide account management support to the senior private bankers active within the Brussels’ desk
• You are together with the Assistant Private Banker responsible for sales support activities to key clients
• You are able to identify customer needs and expectations by offering them appropriate investment solutions and ensure that they are aware of the Group's offers and services.
• You work in close collaboration with the bank's experts (Wealth Planners, Portfolio Managers, etc.) and interact with your colleagues Private Bankers and Assistants in order to offer quality service to clients.
• You ensure the development of the customer base through your network, clients and other external events in which you participate.
• You propagate the purpose and philosophy and you share the convictions of Edmond de Rothschild
• You ensure compliancy of your activities with regulations and internal policies (MIFID, KYC, AML, etc.).

Profile, Degree & Experience

• Bachelor or Master degree in Finance, Economics or Business Management.
• +3 years of experience within Private Banking segment or assimilated
• Languages: Fluent in French + English (Dutch is an extra strength)
• Team player – Solution Oriented – Proactive – Attention to detail – Customer centric
