The People Excellence Partner is responsible for reflecting changes in local processes, procedures and policies according to our client guidelines.
Key responsibilities:
- Talent Acquisition: Support on-site activities as required in partnership with the talent acquisition team.
- Talent Management: Deliver talent review workshops to upskill people managers. Engage in calibration talent reviews as needed to support first-line managers. Provide development advice to employees and managers locally.
- Learning: Support on-site learning administration and handle local audits of learning delivery in partnership with the learning center of excellence.
- Rewards and recognition: Support adjustment and negotiation of collective labor agreements, manage personnel costs/budget, local plans, and exceptions.
- Insights: Handle reporting requests using local data sources (e.g., local government reports).
- Organizational design and effectiveness: Implement organizational changes in systems (if required), manage reorganizations by supporting union/works council negotiations, and manage the transition/exit of personnel.
- Employee relations: Support the people director in liaising with local co-determination bodies and advise managers on employee relations matters. Handle cases end-to-end.
- Mobility: Support on-site relocation, if necessary, such as in-person confirmation of employment.
- Continuous improvement: Promote continuous improvement through feedback loops and process improvement ideas and implementation.
- Proactive encouragement: Encourage all line managers and employees to utilize employee self-service and management self-service.
Profile:
- Required qualifications:
- Significant experience in HR management (soft & hard)
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of local labor laws and regulations (experience working with unions)
- Proficiency in HR systems and IT tools
- Fluent in Dutch, French and English
- Desired skills:
- Experience in an international environment
- Ability to manage complex projects
- Change management skills
