Business Application Director - VP Applications Director CIO Europe


We are looking for our client, a really global multinational large company, in B2C Business

Services, with very high volume of clients & transactions the role of


Business Aplications Director- VP Applications Director- CIO- Europe


Role purpose


  • Lead Backoffice solutions Programs in a complex environment
  • Analyse and comprehend business needs and requirements to provide strategic

solutions

  • Manage stakeholders’ project expectations, escalations and reporting to relevant areas

and within IT.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and document project requirements and

submit proper requests of budgets for 5YP initiatives approval.

  • Coordinate internal team to ensure there is a development and maintenance of

requirement documentation, including scope, objectives, functional specifications, and

use cases for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

  • Work with development and testing teams to ensure solutions meet project

requirements.


Responsibilities


  • Lead Backoffice programs and projects evolutions.
  • Govern Backoffice solutions Programs (Procurement, HR, Sustainability, Legal,

Payments, OneERP, P2P), provide guidelines, reports, budget supervision.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand drivers, definition and evolution

of KPIs and scope of the projects.

  • Control project budgets
  • People management: Work actively and closely with Backoffice team and software

development teams (range 100 people)

  • Perform estimation for new initiatives


Must have experience

  • Extensive experience across all stages of the software development lifecycle.
  • Project management experience in SAP S/4 HANA
  • At least 8/10 years of experience in lead roles or similar in a large complex organisation

with a multinational environment in B2C business services, Airlines, Insurances, Retail,

Hospitality, Banks etc..

  • Excellent level of English with good communication skills (oral & writting)
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability and flexibility to adjust to a fast-changing and demanding environment.
