Project Manager - Financial Crime Compliance (FCC)

The Opportunity


The role of Project Manager within the Worldline Group Financial Crime Compliance team holds significant importance. It involves the implementation and execution of strategic initiatives aimed at combating financial crimes, ensuring the Worldline’s adherence to regulatory mandates, and safeguarding the institution against illicit activities. This challenging position demands an experienced professional who possesses in-depth knowledge of financial crime risks, and a strong background in project management.



Day-to-Day Responsibilities​


A Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) Project Manager is responsible for overseeing initiatives that ensure Worldline adheres to regulations aimed at preventing financial crimes. Key responsibilities associated with this role are:


  • Implementation and execution of the different financial crime compliance change projects.
  • Develop comprehensive change project plans and ensure projects are delivered effectively.
  • Align change project objectives with the overall goals and vision of Worldline Group, making sure the project deliverable is future-proofed to meet our vision.
  • Set up the overall project governance framework, perform accurate follow-up, reporting and / or escalation, and provide a central node of communication for project status.
  • Overseeing work streams to build business cases, business user requirements and functional specifications.
  • Leading the end-to-end delivery, including development, testing and implementation of IT systems and data (driven) projects.
  • Oversee the implementation and maintenance of advanced technologies and data analytics tools for financial crime compliance (AML/CFT and sanctions).
  • Working with internal stakeholders, including compliance, risk management, legal, audit and business units, to ensure a coordinated approach to deliver end-to-end change projects.



Who Are We Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, law, or a related discipline (Master's degree is preferred) with 4 to 7 years of professional experience in the banking and/or payments sector.
  • Background in financial crime compliance with project management experience, or a seasoned project manager familiar with financial crime issues.
  • Interest in cutting-edge technologies and data analytics tools.
  • Self-motivated individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Professional proficiency in English is required (French or any other European language is a plus).
  • Professional certification in financial crime (such as ACAMS or ICA) and/or project management is advantageous.
  • High degree of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Capable of performing effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
  • Committed to continuous learning and possesses a proactive attitude.
