Responsibilities:

  • Act as the 2nd line of IT support, ensuring smooth daily operations by swiftly addressing technical issues.
  • Execute system maintenance, testing, and validation activities in collaboration with other teams to ensure functionality and stability.
  • Analyze recurring IT issues and contribute actionable solutions to continuously improve processes and documentation.
  • Stay updated on evolving technologies and internal systems to deliver high-quality, informed service.
  • Facilitate third-party technician access and interventions while upholding strict security protocols.
  • Provide user support, escalate complex issues to 3rd line teams, and ensure prompt, courteous service.


Profile:

  • A strong mix of analytical thinking and hands-on problem-solving.
  • Solid technical knowledge of infrastructure, applications, and support procedures.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and a proactive approach to service enhancement.
  • Rotating shifts across AM/PM/Day/Night/Weekend to ensure uninterrupted service — with well-deserved rest periods after night shifts.
  • OS: Windows, Linux, Solaris
  • Virtualization: VMWare, VCS
  • Network & Security: Cisco Nexus, Palo Alto, F5, Firewalls, PKI
  • Cloud & Backup: Azure, Veritas, IBM Storwize/Flash, Oracle SL4000
  • Monitoring & Scheduling: Autosys, System Integrator, Nagios, ServiceNow
  • Storage & SAN: Brocade, IBM SVC, etc.
