Junior System Engineer

As a System Engineer you focus on system management, mainly related to Oracle database environments, including the infrastructure involved such as physical of virtualized servers, cloud, storage, network and security.You will work in a managed services team and support customers from various sectors, where you can learn something new from your colleagues every day.

What are your tasks?

• You investigate issues that are reported on environments that we manage
• You take corrective and proactive action to resolve and prevent service interruptions at customers.
• You execute a variety of operational tasks and projects, like standard procedures, installations, migrations, upgrades and security patching
• You contribute to the configuration and development of our managed services tools like monitoring and automation.
• You regularly update your knowledge through training and self-study

As you gain more knowledge and experience, you will have the opportunity to grow into larger and more complex projects. You will also be involved in Standby activities.

You will have the opportunity to work with DevOps tools, new technologies, and automation using Ansible, Terraform and Zabbix.

Who are you?

- You have a bachelor's degree in IT or a related field.

- You have a strong interest in cloud and integration platforms such as Oracle, Azure and AWS.

- You are eager to learn and determined to guide your career with us. We provide you with the necessary technical knowledge, you bring motivation and perseverance.

- You are open to learning and adapting to new technologies.

- You can communicate professionally with our customers while keeping your personal touch

- It is a plus if you have basic knowledge of SQL and databases.
