Your Role

• Develop and optimise procurement strategies aligned with strategic goals.
• Coordinate with Strategic Sourcing Managers to ensure uniform processes and methodologies.
• Create risk models and tailor Kraljic matrices to address diverse risks and procurement impacts.
• Ensure compliance with procurement laws and regulations, translating them into user-friendly tools.
• Lead projects to enhance procurement frameworks using platforms like SAP, Ariba, and e-Procurement.
• Oversee ISO 9001-certified Sourcing Excellence frameworks and supplier qualification processes.
• Benchmark with public and private sector leaders to stay ahead of industry trends.
• Guide, coordinate, and upskill your team for continuous growth.

Your Profile

• A Master’s degree in engineering, economics, or related fields (or equivalent experience).
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in procurement or strategic sourcing.
• Strong analytical thinking skills and the ability to work independently.
• Familiarity with public procurement legislation or a willingness to learn quickly.
• Expertise in SAP and/or Ariba systems.
• Proven experience in team leadership
• Strong communication skills and able to create clear, concise presentations.
• Proficiency in one of Belgium’s national languages (C2 level) and working knowledge of the other (B2 level).
