Tax & Transfer Pricing Specialist

Robert Half is currently recruiting a Tax & Transfer Pricing Specialist for our client located in Mechelen .

Our client specializes in providing innovative solutions in tools and fasteners.

As a European Tax and Transfer Pricing Specialist , you will:

• Cooperate with the European Tax and Transfer Pricing Directors to ensure full conformity of the company's European firms with tax and transfer pricing rules;
• Prepare and file corporate tax and other tax returns;
• Review and evaluate statutory financials and tax computations;
• Create comprehensive Transfer Pricing documentation;
• Analyse financial data from various systems for data diagnostics, improvement of software solutions, and developing new systems for tax compliance/reporting;
• Monitor, determine operational Transfer Pricing for all European legal entities, and adjust as per policies when necessary;
• Document all affiliate transactions, review intercompany transaction reporting in local financial statements, tax returns, and specific transfer pricing forms;
• Assist in setting up transfer pricing for future flows of goods and services in the ERP systems;
• Coordinate the (outsourced) transfer pricing documentation efforts;
• Help with tax and transfer pricing audits;
• Maintain strong relationships with both the internal and external teams of accounting, treasury, tax, and transfer pricing as well as international tax advisors.

The requested qualifications for this job include:

• You have a strong foundation in finance and/or transfer pricing with 4 to 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in a multinational company or tax consulting firm;
• You possess detailed knowledge and skills in SAP & Hyperion Financial Management systems;
• You are able to apply technical tax rules in a practical business environment;
• You are a self-starter with plenty of initiative, hard-working, and a team player with attention to detail;
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to extract the best from external advisors;
• You are fluent in English. Knowledge of French, German or Dutch is a plus but not required.
