Talencia is currently looking for a Workplace Engineer for one of our clients.

Description

Workstation technicians plan and install new and old personal computer systems (iMACD: Install, Move, Add, Change & Deploy) by performing analytical, technical, and administrative tasks.

Your primary duties are as follows:

• Setting up and establishing new Hardware
• visiting the client's or internal user's location in order to perform Hardware maintenance
• assisting customers in using the Hardware and software as specified by the service agreements
• Engage in incident, problem, change, and configuration management ITIL processes.
• When the Service Desk is unable to fix an issue involving workstations and their peripherals, offer second-line support to both internal users and clients.
• Create the required procedures and documentation.
• ensuring that your work is properly managed administratively by keeping track of incidents and problems related to ICT, creating reports, etc.
• Long-term, take on a potential on-call role (24/7)

Your profile

• Between 2-5 years of experience in a similar position
• You've received IT training or have worked in a comparable setting.
• You can communicate well.
• You focus on the client and finding solutions.
• You are able to manage your priorities and stress, especially in the face of user requests. You are a team player who enjoys working in a group.
• You take initiative and act independently.
• Your level of technical expertise:
• Network, software, infrastructure, and so forth, or ITC
• Office automation (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
• Under a corporate Active Directory environment, administer Windows client systems 7.8.10 (DNS, DHCP, File Service, Print Service).
• An advantage is Windows Server 2012 R2 and its support tools, including HP Service Manager.
• As an on-call worker (7/7 and 24/24) you are adaptable (every 6-7 weeks)
• You speak Dutch and French fluently. English language proficiency is a plus.
