As a Senior System Design Engineer, you will leverage over 5 years of technical system experience to provide comprehensive technical engineering services. Your primary responsibilities will include evaluating requirements, translating them into design solutions, and ensuring design compliance through validation and deployment support. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in innovation, incident resolution, and maintaining existing technology documents. This position requires a strong foundation in system software and IT infrastructure, along with core competencies such as adaptability, analytical thinking, collaboration, flexibility, and result-driven mindset.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate requirements and translate them into comprehensive design solutions.
• Assess design benefits and trade-offs to optimize system performance.
• Validate design compliance and support the deployment process to ensure requirements are met effectively.
• Utilize development tools to address technical and business challenges, including technology evolution, capacity management, and performance optimization.
• Innovate and propose new ideas to enhance existing systems, processes, or services.
• Actively contribute to the improvement of frameworks and services to meet evolving needs.
• Maintain knowledge of existing technology documents through technical writing.
• Perform complex incident resolution and root cause analyses to ensure system reliability and stability.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in IBM MQ, Linux, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Experience with setting up, installing, and maintaining middleware components on open systems and zOS.
• Familiarity with messaging concepts and products.
• Advanced knowledge of Linux and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools & principles.
• Scripting skills (Python, Ansible) and automation mindset.
• Quality-driven and detail-oriented approach to work.
• Proven experience in system software and IT infrastructure, with at least 5 years in a similar role.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
