Data Scientist-Freelance/Payroll

Functie

The data scientist role will involve:

• Establishing approaches to query, test and predict operational models
• Performing activities involving NLP, time series analysis, and decision models like Random Forests and SVMs
• Working with tool and application development teams to provide a self-service analytics tool for Pfizer teams

Key responsibilities include:

1. Taking appropriate risks to advance new analytics concepts and methodologies
2. Understanding and setting priorities for analytics projects
3. Leading data acquisition and collaborating with analysts
4. Designing, developing and managing predictive models for production
5. Translating findings into compelling dashboards for self-service
6. Driving process improvement initiatives
7. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement
8. Working cross-functionally to build requirements and influence without direct authority

Required skills and experience:

• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms
• Experience in low-code analytics platforms
• Familiarity with big data technologies like AWS, Snowflake,etc
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Programming skills in Python and/or R
• Proficiency in exploratory analysis, predictive modeling, and data visualization

Location: Brussels, Belgium
