Who are we?

CAOS is a restaurant and Mezcal bar offering modern cuisine rooted in Mexican flavor and traditions while celebrating Mexican heritage with local Belgian ingredients. Our menu is designed for sharing and served with our signature Mezcal cocktails. The standard for our dishes is like fine dining, but without the white table linen. Think of Kol in London and Atla in New York. Our beverage program focuses on artisanal spirits and mirrors our cuisine, letting high quality ingredients shine. The restaurant is focused on dining but is flexible enough to gradually evolve into a sleek bar venue to showcase the depth of our hand- crafted beverages in a lively environment where the concept of time becomes nothing more than a fleeting idea.
CAOS is plannend to open in spring of 2024 (May/June) and will be located in the city centre of Antwerp. The maximum couverts for the restaurant will be 50 people.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an energetic person who is ready for a new challenge. A person who has a passion for modern restaurants and prefferable a passion for Mexican spirits such as Tequila and Mezcal (not a must). You have experience in working in an upscale restaurant, running a bar and a broad knowledge of mixology. Our ideal candidate is somebody that isnt shy to make a jump. If you do not have experience with the Mexican spirits but you are interested in running the bar in a new restaurant, educating guests and making a name for yourself, don't hesitate to reach out!

What are your responsibilities?

The Bartender oversees all bar operations, creating drinks, taking orders, advising guests, and serving food to the people who are sitting at the bar. The bartender has in-depth knowledge of the beverage menu, educate guests on drink choices, manage bar cleanliness, stock levels, and handles supply orders.

  • De betaling voor de consumpties innen
  • De goederen ontvangen en ze opbergen (biervaten, flessenrekken, ...)
  • Cocktailrecepten met of zonder alcohol uitwerken
  • De dranken klaarmaken en aan de toog, in de zaal, op het terras aan de klant serveren
  • De glazen afwassen
  • Personeel aanwerven en ze de richtlijnen van de organisatie aanleren
  • Cocktails samenstellen op vraag van de klant
  • De klant ontvangen en de bestelling van dranken opnemen
  • De ruimtes en de bar inrichten en opnieuw op orde zetten
  • De voorraad opvolgen, tekorten vaststellen
    Bestellingen plaatsen
  • De tafels, toog afruimen
    De bar- en zaaluitrusting onderhouden en schoonmaken
