Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Compliance Officer for a permanent position based in Halle.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the renewable energy sector .

As Compliance Officer you will be responsible for

Provide Employer support to ensure overall compliance with respect to the broad Employer & regulatory framework related to e-mobility, consumer and retail activities; Proactively identify the evolutions of the Employer and regulatory framework applicable in the e-mobility sector (energy transition, EU energy package, new code of conducts, ...); Help our operating departments in applying regulatory compliance (incl. taxation) and continuous improvements; Write and review contacts, assist in contractual negotiations and litigation, when necessary, in direct contact with external lawyers; Participate in the strategic developments within the group (product development, new business or market, M&A implementations, major contractors follow up, ...); Supporting Public Affairs in informing/advising internal and external stakeholders.

The required profile for the Compliance Officer position

You have a master's degree in law; You have preferably - years of relevant professional experience, preferably, but not necessarily within the energy sector and a corporate law environment; You are interested in public policy, energy markets and have a first experience with commercial contracts; You are solution-oriented, pro-active and pay attention to details; You have the ability to manage several things at the same time without losing oversight; You have good diplomatic and social skills and enjoy building relationships with stakeholders; You are challenged and motivated by working in a fast-changing environment; You are a team player and possess a high level of integrity; You have an analytical mindset; You have good social skills and can work efficiently in a team; You are flexible and willing to travel on an occasional basis; You are fluent in Dutch and you are capable of working and drafting in English.
