Our client is based in Antwerp .

As an & Compliance Manager , you will oversee the coordination of Statutory Financial Statements across European countries and manage both Internal and External Audit activities in these relevant countries.

Your responsibilities are

You oversee statutory financial statements across European countries and ensure compliance and accuracy in adherence to local and US GAAP standards; You coordinate internal and external audit activities, ensuring timely completion while managing a compliance calendar and reviewing deliverables; You provide support to SOX testing, address requests, and lead remediation actions following audit findings; You contribute to statistical reporting and other regulatory filings, driving value and improving accuracy across the function; You benchmark effectiveness and continuously work toward enhancing processes and deliverables.

The requested qualifications for this job include

You hold an economic degree in Employer/ or possess equivalent experience in the field; You have at least a solid first experience in preferably audit or financial controlling and a good understanding of compliance requirements; You exhibit strong communication skills and can ensure stakeholder commitment; You bring a proactive, "can-do" attitude and thrive under pressure while meeting strict deadlines; You demonstrate analytical capabilities and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; You are fluent in English, and additional EU languages are a plus.
