Sales Engineer

Join our client, a specialised organisation supporting industrial and life sciences customers with advanced process equipment and technical solutions. You will combine your scientific expertise with customer interaction to help clients identify the best solutions for their applications.

Job Description:

• Develop and maintain relationships with customers across Flanders
• Advise customers on technical solutions related to synthesis and organic chemistry applications
• Support customers with equipment selection for chemical processing environments
• Manage sales opportunities from initial contact through project completion
• Collaborate with internal technical experts to deliver customer focused solutions
• Build knowledge of reactor technologies, evaporators and related process equipment
• Identify new business opportunities within relevant industrial sectors
• Provide technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
• Hands on experience in chemistry is highly valued
• Experience in a technical sales environment is an advantage
• Strong interest in synthesis and organic chemistry
• Knowledge of chemical reactors and process equipment is an advantage
• Experience with chromatography in synthesis environments is an advantage
• Fluent Dutch language skill
• Good English communication skills
• Practical, down to earth and customer focused mindset
• Strong willingness to develop commercial skills
• Ability to work independently and build long term customer relationships
