About the jobAs Key Account Manager Retail, you will take ownership of a portfolio of brands and customers within the Belgian retail market. You will play a key role in developing long-term partnerships with retailers while driving sustainable growth for the brands you represent.More specifically, your responsibilities will include:Negotiating annual agreements, promotional plans and commercial partnerships with key retail customersIdentifying growth opportunities by expanding assortments, launching innovations and strengthening in-store visibilityBuilding strong relationships with both strategic retail partners and smaller customers, acting as a trusted business partnerContributing to customer business plans by combining market insights, commercial opportunities and brand objectivesClosely monitoring market trends, competition and category developments to proactively identify opportunitiesCollaborating cross-functionally with marketing, supply chain, finance and sales support teams to ensure excellent executionActing as the central point of contact for your customers and ensuring smooth communication between all stakeholders About the ideal candidateYou hold a Master’s degree, preferably in Economics, Business or a related fieldYou bring solid experience in FMCG retail sales or key account managementYou have a genuine affinity with food, brands and consumer trendsYou communicate fluently in Dutch, French and EnglishYou are commercially driven, confident in negotiations and energised by building strong customer relationshipsYou combine analytical thinking with a hands-on and pragmatic approachYou are entrepreneurial, proactive and comfortable taking ownership in a fast-paced environment
