As Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the full-cycle accounting ("A to Z accounting") of multiple legal entities located in Belgium, Switzerland, the UK, and the US. You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and smooth day-to day financial operations within a highly international environment.You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external accounting partners, auditors, and management.RESPONSIBILITIESAccounting & Financial Operations – 40%Process, verify, and control supplier and customer invoicesManage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) activitiesPerform AP/AR reconciliations and follow-up on outstanding balancesReview and process expense reports and apply company travel policiesPrepare and post general ledger (GL) journal entriesEnsure accurate month-end and year-end closing activitiesReconcile balance sheet accounts and bank statementsManage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across entitiesReporting & Compliance – 30%Prepare monthly financial reporting packages and analysesSupport budget tracking and financial performance monitoringCoordinate with external accountants, auditors, and tax advisorsEnsure compliance with local accounting standards and internal controlsInternational Entity Management - 30%Handle accounting activities for multiple legal entities in:BelgiumSwitzerlandUnited Kingdom – Support to the local accounting external firmUnited States – Support to the local accounting external firmSupport international finance operations and process improvementsContribute to harmonization and optimization of accounting procedures across the groupDirect involvement in the implementation of the Group ERP systemPROFILEEducation & ExperienceBachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in a similar accounting positionStrong knowledge of Belgian accounting and VAT regulationsExperience with multi- entity and international accounting environments is a strong assetExperience in a scale-up, biotech, medtech, or international SME environment is a plusSkillsSolid understanding of general accounting principles and financial reportingHands-on mentality with strong attention to detailExercise critical judgment over transactions and serve as the guardian of governance.Able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independentlyStrong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent communication skills and team spiritComfortable working in a dynamic and fast-changing environmentLanguages & ToolsFluent in French, professional in EnglishExcellent command of MS Excel and accounting/ERP systemsOUR OFFERA full-time job: 3 days presence in the office required, 2 days of home officeAttractive and competitive salary package in line with your profile and experienceA human-size, dynamic, respectful, and collaborative work environmentInternational exposure, with learning and development opportunities.A role that directly contributes to the improvement of global healthcare outcomes
