Project Manager


Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Savings & Invest Manager in product development and management activities.
  • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and specifications.
  • Design and structure business processes to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Lead and facilitate meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop constructive solutions for both project initiatives and ongoing business activities.
  • Prepare business specifications, including analytical and technical requirements.
  • Create management presentations and support materials for concept validation and decision-making.
  • Analyze commercial and financial data using Excel and provide actionable insights.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, tax, and regulatory requirements related to life insurance products.
  • Translate complex business and technical topics into clear and understandable information.
  • Define product development specifications, including:
  • Process flows
  • Simulation tools
  • Reserve calculations
  • Reporting requirements
  • Regulatory and tax considerations
  • Commercial support materials
  • Contribute to the creation of commercial documents and customer communications.
  • Develop commercial support materials for product launches and ongoing product management.

Required Skills & Experience

Business & Product Management

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Product Management.
  • Experience managing projects and business initiatives from concept to delivery.
  • Affinity with investment products.
  • Knowledge of life insurance investment products, particularly Branch 21 and Branch 23, is considered an asset.

Analytical & Technical Skills

  • Advanced Excel analysis skills for commercial and financial data.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to draw conclusions from data.
  • Understanding of legal and tax aspects of life insurance products.
  • Ability to simplify and communicate complex concepts effectively.
  • Experience creating presentations for senior management.
  • Ability to define detailed product specifications and business requirements.

  • Enthusiastic and proactive attitude.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination abilities.

Education

  • Master's degree required.
  • Preference for candidates with an Economic or Actuarial background.

Languages

  • Dutch: Fluent (Mandatory)
  • French: Fluent (Mandatory)
  • English: Good working proficiency
