Functional Analyst

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Functional Analyst to bridge business needs and IT solutions within a complex, mission-critical environment. Working in Agile/Scrum teams, you will gather and analyze requirements, translate them into functional specifications, support development teams, coordinate testing activities, and ensure the continuous improvement of business applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications, user stories, and product backlog items.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and development teams to define solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and model business processes and workflows.
• Define and coordinate functional testing and validate releases.
• Analyze incidents, prioritize corrective actions, and support production activities.
• Maintain functional documentation and act as a key contact between business and IT stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Functional Analyst.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience, including backlog management and user story writing.
• Knowledge of UML, ERD, XML, XSLT, and SVG.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Miro.
• Ability to understand SQL queries and database models (Oracle, MySQL).
• Basic knowledge of Java tools and software development processes.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
