Senior Functional Analyst Do you want to help shape a more sustainable and digital future while working on large-scale payment solutions? If functional analysis is your expertise, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful, customer-facing solutions used by millions. You will play a key role in evolving payment and card services, enabling secure, seamless, and transparent global transactions for enterprise customers, while helping transform card management into a 24/7 self-service experience. Your work will directly improve end-to-end banking journeys, from initiation through to reporting, ensuring intuitive, reliable, and high-quality digital services. Your Responsibilities As a Senior Functional Analyst, you will work within an Agile, cross-functional team to design and deliver robust solutions: Define functional requirements and propose feasible solution options, including analysis of trade-offs Translate business needs into detailed functional designs aligned with architectural guidelines Collaborate closely with developers and provide clarification throughout the delivery lifecycle Contribute to test case design and execution Produce and maintain clear, structured functional documentation Support implementation and post-implementation phases to ensure stability and quality Your Profile Results-oriented and focused on delivering practical solutions Proactive, collaborative, and open to continuous improvement Strong in problem-solving and able to work independently Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments and living its values (commitment, focus, openness, respect, courage) An effective communicator, able to adapt messages to different audiences Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or Dutch is an advantage Technical Skills & Experience Solid experience (minimum 5 years) in a similar functional analyst role Strong understanding of APIs and Java-based distributed systems Knowledge of mainframe environments, SQL, and data management Experience in software testing and test tools Strong understanding of software development lifecycle management A strong Agile mindset and hands-on experience working in Agile teams If you are passionate about functional analysis and want to work on meaningful digital transformation in payments and cards, Let's connect.
