The role will be a Computer Vision Engineer within an innovative robotics company, developing intelligent perception systems that enable robots to understand and interact with their environments. The work focuses on transforming visual and sensor data into actionable insights, enabling robots to perform complex tasks such as object recognition, navigation, inspection and manipulation.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement computer vision and deep learning algorithms for robotic perception, including object detection, object tracking, semantic segmentation, pose estimation, and scene understanding.
• Design and optimize image, video, LiDAR, depth camera, and sensor data processing pipelines for real-time robotic applications.
• Develop perception systems for autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance, localization, mapping, and robot guidance.
• Build and deploy AI models that support robotic manipulation, pick-and-place systems, quality inspection, and automated decision-making.
• Integrate computer vision solutions with robotic platforms, cameras, sensors, and edge computing devices.
• Optimize models for real-time inference on embedded and edge hardware platforms such as NVIDIA Jetson, GPU-enabled systems, and industrial controllers.
• Deploy and maintain AI applications using cloud and edge infrastructure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
Your Profile
• 3-5+ years of experience in Computer Vision, Robotics, Machine Learning, AI Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong Python programming skills with experience using OpenCV, PyTorch, TensorFlow, or similar computer vision frameworks.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying computer vision systems in production environments.
• Experience with object detection, segmentation, classification, tracking, pose estimation, or 3D vision applications.
• Familiarity with robotics frameworks such as ROS/ROS2 and integration with robotic hardware platforms.
• Understanding of camera calibration, sensor fusion, depth estimation, SLAM, localization, or autonomous navigation concepts.
• Experience working with RGB cameras, stereo vision, LiDAR, depth sensors, or multimodal sensor systems.
