Test Engineer

Task description / Job description:

• The role involves defining, executing, and documenting functional, integration and testing scenarios system validation to ensure compliance, the robustness and reliability of embedded applications and software monitoring platforms.
• The tester will also be involved in the analysis of anomalies, the qualification of the fixes, and the verification of interoperability between software modules and the equipment deployed on the network.
• The function consists of defining, executing and documenting functional tests, integration tests and system validation tests to ensure conformity and robustness and reliability of the built-in applications and to guarantee monitoring software platforms.
• The tester will also be involved in analyzing deviations, the qualification of corrections and the checking the interoperability between the software modules and the equipment on the network is deployed.

Technical skills

• Knowledge of Dutch and French (C1: advanced proficiency)
• Knowledge of English: understanding. writing, and reading (B2: upper-intermediate level)
• Possession of ISTQB Advanced Level certifications (Test Analyst, Technical Test Analyst, Test Manager)
• Experience in their application within various test paths. (L1: at least one experience);
• Experience with test automation and possession of the 'Certified Test Automation Engineer (ISTQB)' certification or an equivalent or higher level. (L1: at least one experience);
• Experience in defining, executing, and documenting functional, integration, and system validation test scenarios to ensure the compliance, robustness, and reliability of embedded applications and monitoring software platforms. (L4: at least 10 years of experience);
• Experience using Azure DevOps Test Plans for writing, managing, and extracting test plan results (L3: at least 5 years of experience).
