Working as a data scientist in an innovative energy technology company where you will apply machine learning, statistical modelling, and advanced analytics to develop data-driven solutions that improve energy efficiency, optimize operations, and support the transition toward more sustainable energy systems. Develop and deploy predictive models for energy applications including energy demand forecasting, renewable energy production prediction, asset health monitoring, predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and operational optimization. • Design and implement feature engineering and data preprocessing workflows for smart meter, IoT, sensor, operational, weather, market, and time-series energy datasets. • Apply statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to solve complex energy challenges, improve system performance, and support data-driven decision-making. • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business teams to translate data insights into actionable recommendations and scalable solutions. • 2–5+ years of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, or a related field. • Strong programming skills in Python and experience with data science libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, TensorFlow, or similar. • Experience developing predictive models and applying statistical analysis to operational or industrial datasets. • Strong understanding of data preparation, feature engineering, model evaluation, and experimentation methodologies. • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous. • Exposure to the energy sector, utilities, renewable energy, smart grids, sustainability initiatives, or industrial analytics is considered a strong plus.
