Mechanical Design Engineer - Engineering

Verhaert Consulting is supporting a leading international engineering company in the search for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to strengthen its machine development team. This role is ideal for a hands-on mechanical engineer with a strong machine-building background who enjoys designing complex industrial equipment and can quickly contribute to ongoing engineering projects. Design and develop complex mechanical systems and automated machinery. Create, modify and optimize 3D machine designs using SolidWorks. Manage engineering data, drawings and revisions within Teamcenter. Apply GD&T principles to ensure manufacturability and product quality. Support machine development from concept through detailed design and implementation. Participate in design reviews and engineering change management processes. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust and reliable machine solutions. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and engineering best practices. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent through experience. Strong background in machine building and industrial equipment design. Extensive experience in 3D mechanical design and product development. SolidWorks Engineering change management Fluent in English.
