🚀 Intern - Agentic Engineering (AI-First Developer)

We're a ~10-person insurtech startup building the connective tissue between insurance companies and their distribution partners. Our clients include some of Belgium's biggest names in insurance (a.s.r., Belfius, Jaimy). Our stack: Ruby on Rails, Sidekiq, and an expanding layer of AI agents we're actively building and shipping. We move fast, care deeply about engineering quality, and believe agentic AI is going to change how software gets built — not just what software does.The Role

We're not vibe coders. But we do believe the next generation of great engineers will be the ones who know how to harness AI as a true engineering tool — not just a shortcut.

We're looking for a motivated intern to join us at the frontier of that shift: learning, experimenting, and helping us build better ways to work with AI agents in a real production environment.

What you'll do:

• Explore and test the latest agentic coding methodologies (Claude Code, Codex, MCP, and what comes next)
• Build small internal tools and automations that make the team faster
• Share learnings with the engineering team — your discoveries matter here
• Work on real features alongside senior engineers
• Document what works (and what doesn't) so we can build on it as a team

• Some coding experience (any language — we'll teach you the rest)
• A genuine obsession with where AI + software engineering is heading
• Someone who reads the changelog, follows the releases, and wants to be first to try things
• Autonomous, curious, and not afraid to say "I think there's a better way"
• Comfortable learning in public and sharing within the team

Bonus: Experience with Python, Ruby, TypeScript, or any agent framework (LangChain, CrewAI, Claude Code, etc.)
