Freelance SAP EWM consultant

We're on the lookout for an experienced Freelance Senior SAP EWM Consultant to join one of our clients in Antwerp on a long-term contract.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the design, configuration, and optimisation of SAP EWM processes across multiple workstreams
• Implement and manage MFS integration with PLC-controlled warehouse automation equipment
• Ensure reliable, high-performance communication between SAP EWM and material handling systems
• Work closely with internal teams, external vendors, and automation engineers
• Own end-to-end solution delivery - from blueprinting through go-live and hypercare
• Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to ongoing optimisation
• Support SIT/UAT testing cycles and champion solution quality
• Share your expertise on EWM architecture and warehouse automation best practices

What We're Looking For

• Substantial experience as a Senior SAP EWM Consultant in complex, large-scale environments
• Hands-on MFS expertise - this is non-negotiable
• Familiarity with automated warehouse technologies (conveyors, cranes, AS/RS, robotics, etc.)
• Solid grounding in end-to-end logistics and warehouse operations (inbound, outbound, internal movements)
• Experience integrating EWM with external systems and PLCs
• A self-directed working style - you're comfortable driving deliverables independently
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

• English: Professional level required
• Dutch: A bonus, but not essential
