Logistics Manager


For a manufacturing customer in Brussels, we are seeking an experienced freelance Interim Logistics Manager to oversee warehouse management operations for a fast-paced distribution and supply chain environment.The successful candidate will be responsible for driving operational efficiency, managing warehouse performance, improving logistics processes, and ensuring service levels are achieved across inbound, storage, and outbound activities.ResponsibilitiesLead day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations across inbound, inventory, and outbound functionsManage warehouse KPIs including OTIF, inventory accuracy, productivity, safety, and cost performanceCoordinate and optimise warehouse workflows, staffing, and third-party logistics providers (3PLs)Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase operational efficiency and reduce wasteEnsure compliance with health & safety, quality, and regulatory standardsDrive inventory control processes and resolve stock discrepanciesCollaborate with supply chain, procurement, customer service, and transport teams to ensure seamless operationsSupport warehouse transformation, restructuring, or system implementation projects where requiredAnalyse operational data and provide regular reporting to senior leadershipCoach and develop warehouse supervisors and operational teamsProfileProven experience in warehouse management or logistics leadership rolesStrong background in distribution, supply chain, or manufacturing environmentsExperience managing large warehouse operations and cross-functional teamsKnowledge of WMS systems and ERP platforms (SAP experience is advantageous)Demonstrated experience delivering process improvements and operational efficienciesStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilitiesExcellent stakeholder management and communication skillsAbility to operate effectively in an interim, fast-changing environmentWhat Success Looks LikeImproved warehouse operational performance and service deliveryIncreased inventory accuracy and warehouse productivityStabilised operational processes and enhanced team performanceDelivery of measurable cost savings and process improvementsStrong collaboration across supply chain and operational stakeholdersAdditional DetailsSENIORITY: SeniorSTART DATE: JuneDURATION: 6 MonthsEXTENSION: TBCCONTRACT: FreelanceLOCATION: BrusselsREMOTE POLICY: 1 day per weekHOURS PER WEEK: 40LANGUAGES: Fluent English and Dutch/FrenchINTERVIEW PROCESS: 1 stageIf you are interested, please forward your updated resume to jay.kukoyi@vividresourcing.com to be considered.
