Region NCE & Global Offshore > SBU Global Offshore > NobelwindThe Vestas Offshore Service department is responsible for service and maintenance of the wind turbines in multiple windfarms in the North Sea within Belgium. Responsibilities Carry out maintenance on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems as directed by Supervisor Maintaining and upgrading installation activitiesCarrying out a diversity of check-ups, repairs and replacement activities of turbine componentsCreating follow-up ordersResponsible for the frictionless operation of our turbines and use of our systems like Condition Monitoring / Remote Control Contribute to a safe working environment in generalRegistration of time and material consumptionCompliance to Vestas's and client's procedures, processes, policies and instructions Qualifications Completed an electrical or mechanical degree from a technical school/college/universityFluent in English, Dutch will be advantageousIdeally, 2 years of experience in the electrical and mechanical fieldGood knowledge of MS OfficeDriving license category BLiving in Belgium or close to the Oostende area ( km) or willing to relocate on own expense Competencies Great problem-solving skillsTeam-oriented person Flexible and committedComfortable working offshore and at heights, coping with the respective issues that this brings You recognize your own limitations and willing to seek help when needed What we offerWe offer a days on / days off rotation, starting from Oostende, Belgium, working at the Nobelwind wind farm. This balanced schedule supports a healthy work-life balance, allowing you to fully focus during your working period while enjoying time off to re-charge.During your rotation, you will live and work onboard a Service Operation Vessel (SOV), providing a unique offshore experience and the opportunity to be part of a collaborative and highly skilled team in a dynamic environment. Accommodation on board is fully provided during your working days.Looking ahead, this setup will evolve no later than November 7, transitioning to Crew Transfer Vessel (CTV) operations.
