Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Assistant Sales Manager role based in Ostend. The Assistant Sales Manager will support the sales team in managing existing accounts, responding to client inquiries, and preparing quotations and sales proposals. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate customer and order data in the CRM system, coordinating with production and logistics on lead times and deliveries, and assisting with pricing, sample requests, and after-sales service. The role involves collaborating with architects, designers, and distributors, preparing sales presentations and basic product documentation, and supporting trade fairs, showroom visits, and client meetings. The Assistant Sales Manager also contributes to sales reporting, market feedback, and identifying opportunities to grow key accounts. Strong sales support skills, including account coordination, quotation preparation, and follow-up on leads and opportunities. Organizational and administrative skills, including accurate data entry, CRM usage, and basic reporting in tools such as Excel or similar. Communication skills, with clear written and verbal abilities in English; knowledge of Dutch, French, or German is an advantage. Interest in design, architecture, or high-end crafted products, with the ability to understand technical product details and project requirements. Collaborative approach, able to work closely with sales, production, and logistics teams, while managing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience in a sales, inside sales, or customer service role, preferably in design, architecture, or premium goods. Relevant post-secondary education in business, sales, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
