Your role As an Account Director , you’re the strategic backbone and commercial driver for a portfolio of A-list clients like Telenet, Base, ING, Samsung, and more.
You don’t just manage clients, you grow them, challenge them, and inspire them .
You:
- Take ownership of a client portfolio and guide it to the next level
- Translate client objectives into strong strategic directions
- Lead multidisciplinary teams and keep everyone aligned and motivated
- Spot opportunities before others do, and act on them
- Build strong, long-term client relationships (and win new ones along the way)
- Coach and inspire colleagues to grow with you
You’re not afraid to raise your hand, take the lead, and make things happen.
What you’ll do - Oversee campaigns from idea to execution to optimisation
- Manage budgets, profitability, reporting, and invoicing
- Analyse performance and sharpen strategies based on data (ROI, dashboards, KPIs)
- Negotiate like a pro with clients, partners, and internal teams
- Understand your clients’ business challenges, and turn them into opportunities
- Lead your team of Account Executives and Project Managers
Who you are - 10+ years of experience in an agency or similar role
- Strong background in digital marketing
- Fluent in Dutch, French, and English
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on, no-nonsense mindset
- Commercially sharp and opportunity-driven
- A natural leader and true team player ( we > me )
- Strong communicator who knows how to influence and inspire
- Analytical and data-savvy
- You bring positive energy, ownership, and a sense of humor
