Role Description TSL is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Estimator to join our growing team in Belgium. The ideal candidate will support the Estimating Team in preparing accurate, competitive, and commercially sound tender submissions for large-scale construction projects such as data centers, manufacturing facilities, and logistics warehouses.

You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of cost estimates, maintaining tender data, and supporting project teams throughout both pre-construction and delivery phases.

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple streams of information efficiently.

TSL Estimator – Job Description

Key Responsibilities • Tender Preparation and Estimating Review Tender documentation (scope of work, drawings & specifications) and raise requests for information (RFI)

Prepare work packages for price enquiries Send price enquiries to the supply chain and follow up with reminders Collect, review, analyse and compare offers from the supply chain.

Take off the quantities on Tender drawings using specific software Build up the price using quantities and rates using specific software • Data Management and Analysis o Compile and maintain a database of construction rates from various projects.

Maintain and regularly update the tender log to provide visibility on the status of ongoing and submitted tenders.

Analyse historical project data to improve accuracy and reliability of future estimates. o Ensure all estimating data is well-organized, accessible, and up to date.

Project Support and Coordination. Assist live project teams on commercial and technical change management matters.

Collaborate with Project Managers, Engineers, and Commercial Teams to ensure alignment between estimates and project execution.

Support communication and coordination between internal teams and external stakeholders. Compliance and Process Oversight.

Ensure all estimating activities comply with company procedures and industry best practices. Support the continuous improvement of estimating processes, tools, and methodologies.

Maintain accurate records of all tender submissions, assumptions, and decisions.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience

Proven Experience o Experience in an estimating or construction-related role is preferable.

Exposure to large-scale construction projects (data centres, industrial, or logistics) is an advantage.

Technical Skills

Basic understanding of construction principles and project delivery processes.

Strong computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office with strong focus on MS Excel.

Ability to manage and organize large volumes of data and documentation efficiently.

Knowledge of software such as RIB CostX and REVU Bluebeam is an asset

Personal Skills

Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Effective written and verbal communication skills with suppliers and clients o Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education

Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field is preferred.

Additional Requirements

Full, clean driving licence and willingness to travel to meetings and project sites as required.
