One of our important clients is currently looking for a Data & Platform Engineer for a 12-month contract based in Brussels. Day rate is negotiable.
Data & Platform Engineer - Hybrid (Office: Tuesday & Thursday)
We are looking for a Data & Platform Engineer to join our Advanced Analytics team and help build and scale our Data Science & AI platform.
You will play a key role in developing data pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and platform capabilities that enable analytics, machine learning, and AI solutions across the organisation.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain the Data Science & AI platform
Build and optimise data ingestion pipelines and transformations
Support ML workloads and MLOps practices
Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Architects
Ensure scalable, reliable, and well-documented data infrastructure

Requirements
3+ years experience in Data / Platform Engineering
Strong experience with Databricks (runtime, jobs, workflows, Delta Lake)
Experience with cloud-based data platforms
Python / PySpark and SQL skills
Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)
Knowledge of Git and CI/CD
Fluent English

Nice to Have
Experience building AI or Data Science platforms
Azure cloud experience
Docker / Kubernetes
