Functional Analyst Banking and Invest Trading Sector

For one of our international clients operating in the banking and investment trading industry , we are looking for an experienced Functional Analyst to join a dynamic Agile environment in Brussels.

Your responsibilities

• Analyze and challenge business requirements
• Translate business needs into functional and non-functional specifications
• Collaborate closely with Architects, Developers, Product Owners and Business Analysts
• Design service specifications and contribute to data modeling
• Write detailed User Stories in Jira and documentation in Confluence
• Support Scrum teams during development and testing phases
• Participate in an international and multicultural environment

Required skills

• Strong experience as a Functional Analyst (+5 years)
• Good knowledge of:
• Financial products & investment trading
• UML
• SQL
• XML / JSON / CSV
• Jira & Agile/Scrum
• AI-related environments/tools
• Understanding of:
• Microservices
• ETL
• Containers & PODs
• Service orchestration
• Message bus architecture

Profile :

• Degree in Business, Economics or Computer Science
• Native French or Dutch speaker with fluent English
• Strong analytical mindset
• Excellent communication skills
• Team player with attention to detail
