Senior Business Analyst

I am currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join a leading consultancy delivering impactful public sector and government transformation projects.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional who thrives in complex stakeholder environments and enjoys shaping and delivering high-value digital and organisational change initiatives.

The Role:

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions across a range of public sector programmes. You will work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams to ensure requirements are clearly defined, prioritised, and successfully implemented.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business analysis activities across multiple projects within the public/government sector
• Engage with senior stakeholders to gather, challenge, and validate requirements
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, process models, and functional specifications
• Support Agile delivery teams, working closely with Scrum Masters and Product Owners
• Facilitate workshops, backlog refinement sessions, and sprint planning activities
• Ensure alignment between business objectives and delivered solutions
• Contribute to continuous improvement of Agile and BA practices

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Analyst
• Strong background working on public sector or government projects
• Trilingual proficiency : Dutch, French, and English (essential)
• Solid experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Hands-on experience collaborating with or acting as a Product Owner
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to operate confidently in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
• Experience translating strategic objectives into actionable deliverables

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of public sector regulatory environments
• Experience with digital transformation programmes
• Familiarity with process modelling tools (e.g., BPMN)
• Certifications in Agile, Scrum, or Business Analysis
