Role Overview
You will join a dynamic and growing Employment practice group. The role offers immediate file ownership, direct client contact, and a broad spectrum of high-quality work spanning individual and collective labor law, restructuring, executive remuneration, and social security litigation.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise national and international corporate clients on complex individual and collective labor law matters.
- Draft, review, and negotiate employment contracts, service agreements, policies, and termination packages.
- Assist clients with structural changes, including restructuring, corporate reorganizations, and the employment aspects of M&A transactions.
- Represent clients in employment-related litigation before Belgian labor courts.
- Conduct legal research and provide proactive updates on evolving Belgian social legislation.
Required Profile
- Experience : 3 to 5 years of experience in employment and benefits law at a business or niche law firm.
- Education : Master’s degree in Law from a Belgian university with strong academic results.
- Additional Qualifications : An LL.M. in Social Law is considered a strong plus.
- Languages : Native Dutch-speaker or native French-speaker with an excellent command of English. Good knowledge of the other national language (French or Dutch) is a distinct advantage.
- Skills : Strong analytical skills, a pragmatic mindset, and a commercial, client-oriented approach.
