What you will do

• Develop and maintain mission-critical SCADA applications supporting real-time energy operations across multiple European countries
• Build and enhance industrial software solutions used for power balancing, flexibility integration, and grid stability
• Develop both backend and frontend components using SCIL, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Design scalable, resilient, and maintainable software architectures for 24/7 operational environments
• Collaborate with analysts, dispatchers, architects, and operational teams in an Agile/SAFe environment
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives around software quality, reliability, and operational efficiency
• Support integration of new energy assets and grid services
• Participate in on-call support after onboarding to ensure high system availability
• Apply cybersecurity and OT/ICS best practices aligned with NIS2 requirements

What you bring

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or Electromechanics
• Minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering, industrial systems, SCADA, OT, or critical infrastructure environments
• Experience with frontend and/or backend development technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, or similar
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles and clean code practices (SOLID, DRY, KISS, YAGNI)
• Knowledge of industrial systems, automation, energy systems, or real-time operational environments
• Familiarity with Git-based version control and CI/CD practices
• Awareness of cybersecurity principles in industrial control systems (ICS/OT)
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to troubleshoot critical production issues quickly
• Comfortable working in high-availability 24/7 operational environments
