Cyber Security Implementer – Brussels (Hybrid)

We are currently seeking an experienced Cyber Security Implementer to join a high‑profile public sector environment based in Brussels. This is a long‑term opportunity for a senior professional with deep expertise in modern security tooling, container platforms, and automation.

Location & Contract

Brussels (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

Duration: 3 years

Rate: €750/day

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, test, and maintain cyber‑security solutions
• Integrate and operate security services across infrastructure environments
• Securely configure systems, services, and applications
• Monitor performance and effectiveness of security controls
• Support users and stakeholders on security‑related topics
• Perform patch management and vulnerability remediation
• Collaborate closely with IT teams on security initiatives
• Document, report, and communicate all security activities

Required Experience & Skills

• Minimum 12 years of overall experience and a Bachelor’s degree
• At least 3+ years hands‑on experience with container‑based security tooling
• Strong experience with Docker, Swarm, and/or Kubernetes
• Proven knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab/GitHub), including secure release processes
• Solid scripting ability (Python, Bash, or PowerShell)
• Experience building automation workflows using no‑code/low‑code tools (e.g., Tines, n8n, Zapier)
