As a Product Owner – Automation & Robotics, you will be responsible for the following tasks:
Product Vision, Strategy & Backlog Management
- Define and communicate the product vision, roadmap and strategic direction
- Build the product’s big picture and translate it into actionable initiatives for the squad and stakeholders
- Develop a strong understanding of customer needs, market trends and automation opportunities
- Define and monitor Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Own, prioritize and continuously refine the Product Backlog
- Ensure proper prioritization and value-driven delivery of business needs
- Ensure alignment between stakeholders, tribes and squad members regarding product objectives and delivery expectations
- Align backlog priorities with product tribes and business strategy
Agile Delivery & Squad Leadership
- Ensure the squad fully understands quarterly goals, sprint objectives and product expectations
- Plan iterations and define priorities to maximize delivery efficiency
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies:
- Sprint Planning
- Sprint Reviews
- Retrospectives
- Refinement sessions
- Product Boards
- Conduct Sprint Backlog adjustments and delivery follow-up
- Collaborate closely with the Scrum Master to ensure squad efficiency and consistency
- Act as the decision-maker regarding delivered functionalities and product priorities
- Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement within the squad
Automation & Digital Transformation
- Identify and drive automation opportunities across the organization
- Contribute to the delivery of highly automated workflows and robotics solutions
- Collaborate with architects, developers and automation experts
- Ensure consistency, quality and scalability of automation solutions
- Participate in digital transformation initiatives and process optimization projects
- Promote innovation and customer-centric solutions leveraging automation technologies
Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Represent the voice of customers and stakeholders within the squad
- Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IT teams
- Ensure continuous communication and stakeholder alignment
- Influence stakeholders and facilitate decision-making in complex environments
- Build strong relationships across all organizational levels
- Provide visibility on product progress, priorities and delivery objectives
Profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in Product Ownership, Agile delivery or digital transformation environments
- Experience leading squads or cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical, prioritization and problem-solving skills
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities
- Customer-centric and delivery-oriented mindset
- Autonomous, proactive and solution-oriented attitude
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced and complex environments
Technical Skills
Mandatory
- Functional understanding of automation and robotics solutions
- Familiarity with automation tools such as BluePrism
- Strong interest in technology and digital innovation
- Experience delivering digital transformation projects
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Agile delivery practices
- Experience managing product backlog, priorities and roadmap delivery
Nice to Have
- Experience in banking or financial services
- Knowledge of Agile frameworks and methodologies:

Languages
- Fluent knowledge of English
- Active knowledge of French or Dutch
