Investment Manager - Funds of Funds F/M BE876559

Investment Manager — Private Markets (F/M) The firm partners with a broad base of private investors and family offices and manages several hundred million euros of assets. The team is intentionally compact, offering senior hires meaningful ownership and hands-on responsibility, and operates with a consistent, long-term approach to manager selection and external transparency. As Investment Manager you will lead and own the fund-selection process, from first contact with managers through Investment Committee approvals and ongoing monitoring. You will act as the primary gatekeeper for inbound fund opportunities, prioritising what the team pursues against limited bandwidth, and you will help shape and expand the firm’s product offering. Lead product-level investment cycles end-to-end each year and support product development initiatives. Source, map and evaluate top-tier private equity managers across Europe and North America. Serve as first-line reviewer for inbound fund approaches and triage opportunities in line with team capacity. Perform screening and full due diligence, including financial modelling, reference checks and on-site manager visits. Monitor portfolio funds, contribute to investor reporting and maintain governance documentation. Contribute to investor-facing materials and internal knowledge resources (manager insights, market views, research). Master’s degree in economics, finance, business, or a related discipline. 4–6 years’ relevant experience in private equity fund selection or closely related areas (fund-of-funds, secondaries, co‑investment programmes, VC/hedge-fund selection). Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with sound commercial judgement. Fluent English; additional European language(s) an advantage. Self-starter with pragmatic problem-solving, integrity-first mindset, and comfort making decisions with incomplete information. A central, visible role within a compact international investment team that values high standards and light hierarchy. Direct exposure to leading private equity managers and a growing, stable platform with recurring revenue. All applications will be treated with strict confidentiality.
