EU Public Affairs Consultant in Digital Policy


Political Intelligence Brussels is seeking an experienced Public Affairs consultant with a passion for EU Digital public policy to reinforce our team. You will be a trusted advisor to clients who are mainly active across the digital policy landscape - spanning areas such as telecom, connectivity and beyond. Your role will involve autonomously managing client portfolios and providing strategic guidance across complex digital policy files.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify policy opportunities and threats relevant to our client
  • Provide strategic advice on ongoing policy developments
  • Monitor and analyse political initiatives and draft policy briefs
  • Engage with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Design and implement tailored Public Affairs strategies in the Connectivity field.
  • Manage client relationships with professionalism, proactivity and strategic insight
  • Contribute to new business development by supporting pitches and identifying potential growth opportunities.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Excellent level of English with any additional EU languages being an asset
  • 2 to 3 years of relevant professional experience, i deally in a consultancy or a policy-focused environment, and have developed the skills needed to navigate the EU Digital policy area and regulatory landscape, whether through work in public affairs, government, administration, or a related field.
  • Sound understanding of the EU decision making process in Digital Policy, including key stakeholders and decision-making processes
  • University level Master’s degree in Political Science, Law or another relevant field
  • Strong analytical skills and can interpret and analyse complex policy documents and research reports
  • Demonstrated assertiveness, flexibility and the ability to work autonomously
