Controller (Production & Purchasing P&L)

You will join a fast-growing organization within the FMCG industry, where finance plays a key role in driving industrial and purchasing performance.

The controlling team is highly connected to operations (production & purchasing), with a strong hands-on mindset and a continuous improvement culture.

Your role

You will act as a true business partner to operational teams and be responsible for:

• Monitoring, analysing and ensuring the accuracy of production and purchasing P&L results
• Preparing and consolidating periodic reporting and budgeting cycles
• Analysing variances and delivering high-value business insights
• Supporting teams in understanding key performance drivers
• Participating in financial review meetings with operational stakeholders
• Identifying opportunities to improve financial and operational processes
• Leading improvement projects after management validation
• Supporting and coaching junior team members within the controlling team

Your profile

• Master’s degree in Business Engineering or Applied Economic Sciences (TEW) – mandatory (non-negotiable)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in controlling and/or audit
• Strong analytical mindset with a hands-on approach
• Experience or strong interest in FMCG / industrial environments
• Fluent Dutch (mandatory) , professional level of English or French
• Strong MS Office skills; SAP knowledge is a plus
• Critical thinking, structured mindset, and continuous improvement orientation
